Iain Armitage is Head of Markets for Citi Wealth. Iain’s team provide investment advice and execution services across all traded markets including equity, fixed income, foreign exchange and commodity markets. He is based in London.
Iain has worked at Citi for over 29 years and prior to his current role was the Regional Head of Investments for the Private Bank in EMEA.
Prior to this, Iain worked for Global Markets in Citi’s Institutional Clients Group including roles as Global Head of Commodity Investor Sales, Head of Fixed Income Derivatives Sales in Japan and as a fixed income derivative salesperson in Europe.
Iain holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Durham University.
Ed has overall responsibility for Citi Wealth Markets organization across North America and Latin America, whose asset class specialists provide investment guidance and execution services across equity, fixed income, foreign exchange and commodity markets.
He joined Citi Private Bank in May 2018, after nearly two decades at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. There, he was Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets Product Origination within the Global Wealth & Investment Management division.
Adam is responsible for the management and development of Citi Private Bank’s cash, derivatives and structured solutions product offerings for Asia Pacific clients across equities, foreign exchange, fixed income, credit and commodities.
Adam is an investment and risk management specialist, whose career in equity, fixed income, commodity and alternative-asset derivatives began in London in 1996. Prior to joining Citi in April 2014, he held derivative structuring, sales and sales management positions in London and Hong Kong, at US, European and Japanese investment banks, including J. P. Morgan, Credit Suisse and Daiwa Capital Markets. His clients have included an extensive range of private banks, family offices, corporates, retail banks, asset managers and insurance companies.
Adam is a third-generation Hong Kong citizen and a graduate of the London School of Economics.
Ben has overall responsibility for addressing the markets needs of Citi Wealth Investments clients throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In this capacity, he heads a variety of product, sales and execution teams covering a wide range of asset classes.
Previously, Ben served as Head of Equities, Commodities & Hybrids within EMEA Markets for the Private Bank, leading a team of advisors and structurers.
Prior to that, Ben held various product specialist roles within the Private Bank’s Investments organization, having joined Citi in 2004.
He has a bachelor’s in economics and is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
Richard has overall responsibility for our derivatives credit portfolio and leads a global team focused on structuring and extending trading lines for Citi Wealth’s Markets clients.
Previously, Richard was Deputy Head of Capital Markets Risk at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, where he had global responsibility for Securities Based Lending, Derivatives Counterparty Risk, and Market Risk.
Richard started his career in Citi’s Institutional Client Group, going on to hold several senior positions, including Head of Capital Markets Risk for the Americas at Citi Private Bank.
Richard holds a bachelor’s in finance from St. John’s University and a master’s in management and systems from New York University.
