Account Data
How often is the account data in The Relationship Report updated?
The Web site will display a daily value, based on the close of the previous business day.
Will there be a difference between the information presented in the legal statements versus what is included in The Relationship Report?
No, The Relationship Report will foot to the month-end statements. Some systems close on the calendar month end, and others close on the last Friday of the month. The Relationship Report will foot to whatever the last month-end value is, depending on the underlying account and system.
The market value of the securities in my brokerage account is reduced by my margin loan. But the account detail does not list the margin loan. Is this correct?
The margin loan component of the brokerage accounts is handled as a negative cash position, so that the value nets against the assets. The reason the margin loan amount is not treated as a separate account in the Liabilities section of The Relationship Report is that it would not be netted against the assets of the same account number.
How do I know what the column header on each accounts page means?
To find the definition of a column header in The Relationship Report, click Column Definitions, found in the dark blue header at the top of each table.
Can I add or change the columns in The Relationship Report pages?
In most cases, six columns of information is standard on each page. While the number of those columns must stay at six, you may order the columns how you like or even change which columns are displayed. To manage your column selections, choose "Change Columns" found in the header at the top of each table and choose the columns you would like to see by selecting from the check boxes presented. Certain columns may not be relevant to all of your accounts.
How far back will the historical data on pages such as the Combined Asset Allocation go back?
Prior value information will be limited to data at a maximum of two years.
Can I go back and view The Relationship Report as of a specific month-end?
You will be able to retrieve copies of the month-end information, but not for specific days within the month. Prior month information will be available for a period of up to two years.
